Global Capital Flows Q2 2013

Despite increased capital market volatility during the quarter commercial property continued to benefit from accelerating inflows into the sector. Q2 2013 volumes are $121bn, a 16% increase from the first quarter and 10% higher than Q2 2012.

As a result of sustained growth over the first half of the year, volumes reached $225 billion, 12% higher than the first six months of last year, with EMEA and Asia Pacific seeing the strongest growth.
